Job Opportunity: Travel Security Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Travel Security Specialist to join our global risk management team. The ideal candidate will support international travel security and risk mitigation projects, identify risks, manage incidents, and develop standard operating procedures to ensure the highest level of safety.

Our organization provides Fortune 500 organizations with security solutions for executive protection, secure transportation, and emergency support during crisis situations such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and pandemics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing travel operations, communicating with teams and clients, understanding and following security procedures, documenting missions, and participating in training sessions.

The role requires excellent logistical and operational understanding, strong communication skills, good client orientation, and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and control travel operations and risk mitigation projects worldwide
  • Communicate directly with teams, vendors, clients, and other specialists during emergencies and routine operations
  • Understand, compile, and follow security procedures
  • Document missions and update work management software
  • Understand operational information and create intra-shift briefs and exchanges
  • Conduct detailed written and verbal situation briefings internally and externally
  • Participate in frequent training sessions and exercises to ensure GSOC proficiency
  • Conduct research and screen for major events affecting client interests
  • Conduct after-action debriefs to identify best practices

  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Team-player with a high level of independence
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT) and quick learning ability for client/work management platforms and monitoring tools
  • Experience in conducting research and writing, aptitude to learn
  • Awareness of global events in the security and geopolitical field
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Experience in the field is an asset but not mandatory
  • A master's degree is an asset but not mandatory
