Job Title: OpenShift Cloud Engineer

A successful OpenShift Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized cloud platforms.

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Kubernetes/Container platform to support the deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
  • Develop automation scripts, tools, and documentation to streamline deployment and management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system metrics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Implement observability solutions, such as monitoring, logging, and tracing tools, to gain valuable insights into platform performance and application behavior.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to improve their application deployment and management capabilities.
Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift Engineering including some public cloud experience.
  • Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components with hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes platforms.
  • Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (e.g., python, Go).
  • Experience designing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.

  • TAS (Tanzu Application Service), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AKS, NSX, NSX-T experience

  • Demonstrated competency in a programming/scripting Language (e.g., Go, Python)
