Project Management Expert

A seasoned mechanical engineer with 6-8 years of experience in Passenger Car Body-In-White (BIW) is required to lead projects from concept generation to cost optimization.

About the Role:

  • In-depth knowledge of BIW structure and assembly, joining techniques, and material selection.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A), FMEA, GD&T, and Stack Up.
  • Team leadership and project management skills, including coordination with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Experience with NX surfacing software and familiarity with Teamcenter.
  • Awareness of prototyping activities and builds.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project plans and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing.
  3. Develop cost optimization ideas for components and assemblies.
  4. Participate in design reviews, packaging reviews, and quick actions.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure efficient execution.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Passenger Car BIW.
  • Strong technical knowledge of BIW structure, assembly, and materials.
  • Experience with NX surfacing software and Teamcenter.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
