Senior Controls Assurance Specialist

Role Overview:
This senior position plays a critical role in supporting the development of testing methodologies for key controls across our global business.
The successful candidate will focus on assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing, with opportunities to expand into other operational risk domains.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute control testing plans, ensuring alignment with our risk management processes.
- Communicate and agree upon gaps in controls with stakeholders, including assurance functions across the first, second, and third lines of defense.
- Support the development of testing methodologies, risk universes, and integrated reporting.
- Identify and prioritize testing activities as part of the assurance planning process.
- Coordinate the review process with key stakeholders, manage analysts, and ensure quality alignment with the assurance testing methodology.
- Presents results to senior management for buy-in and agreement on actions.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activity.
- Provide feedback to design and implementation teams on learnings identified during control testing.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- At least 4 years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit (Big 4 and/or internal audit experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of IT systems and operations.
- Experience performing controls testing.
- Familiarity with data analytics or continuous monitoring.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global functional team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including written and spoken English.
- Broad knowledge of compliance regulations, controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
