This role involves deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of on-prem systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter)
  • Manage virtual machines, templates, snapshots, and resource pools
  • Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions
  • Integrate VMware with storage systems (e.g., EMC, NetApp) and virtual networking
  • Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and virtualization issues across Windows and Linux platforms
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and security configurations to VMware infrastructure
  • Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
Qualifications We Seek
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
  • Good experience in VMware infrastructure management
  • Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and virtual networking
  • Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and Active Directory integration
  • Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management practices
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
  • VMware certifications (e.g., VCP-DCV) preferred
