Job Title: Senior Interior Designer

Architect Rushikesh H. (ARH) is a renowned architectural firm based in Mumbai, India, with a strong presence in both India and internationally. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to lead our hospitality interior design projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality interior design. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-end hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, and restaurants. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process, collaborating with clients, and overseeing the work of junior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for hospitality projects, from concept development to final execution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into creative and functional interior designs.
  • Develop detailed design plans, including space planning, material selection, lighting, and furniture layouts.
  • Oversee and guide the work of junior designers, ensuring that all designs align with the project goals and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technology to integrate cutting-edge design solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with a significant focus on hospitality projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering high-end hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, and restaurants.
  • Strong design and creative skills with a deep understanding of space planning, materials, and finishes.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Experience working with luxury hospitality brands is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and an understanding of LEED or other green building certifications.
