Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong proficiency in the Japanese language to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems using Java technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • JLPT N3 or N2 certified with fluent reading, writing, and conversational skills in Japanese
  • 5-10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing, and Maintenance projects
  • Hands-on experience with Java technologies including Core Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, MySQL database, Postgres database, NPM, Maven, VS Code, IntelliJ Idea, and GitHub
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs, Onsite, and Offshore teams
  • Actively involved in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hours
  • Advanced knowledge of designing and implementing APIs and integrations in insurance or financial systems
