Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team at Charles Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge digital products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Duties include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress or equivalent.
  • The automation engineer will build and enhance test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with product owners and developers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies, tools and processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases and test outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is required. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing is also necessary.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or C# are essential. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress etc is also a must.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar is needed.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle is expected.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are a requirement.
