Advanced Analytics Solutions Specialist

Job Description:

We seek a seasoned technical lead to drive advanced analytics solutions for enterprise clients using TIBCO Spotfire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Development: Design and develop data-driven insights tailored to business needs.
  • Data Strategy: Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to define data models, transformation logic, and visualization strategies.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers in best practices, performance optimization, and version control.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business users, analysts, and senior management to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Integration & Automation: Implement data integration workflows using Spotfire's scripting (IronPython, TERR) and automation services.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize data visualization performance and ensure scalability across large datasets and user bases.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, data governance standards, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7-11 years of overall experience in BI and analytics, with at least 5+ years in Spotfire development and architecture.
  • Strong command over Spotfire features including custom expressions, calculated columns, data functions, and advanced visualizations.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python for scripting and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in leading teams and managing project deliverables in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lake architectures.
  • Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
