Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our development and release process, you will provide full stack development support focused on deployment, automation, and product support.

You will work closely with regional delivery teams, representing them during the software development lifecycle, providing operational guidance, product consultancy, and supporting client incidents.

This role contributes towards the success of our business through automation and innovation improvements, internal knowledge-sharing activities, such as product improvements, documentation optimization, enhancing product deliverability through technical input and customer advocacy, and through being curious and striving to understand the customers' product needs and challenges.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide full stack development support focused on deployment, automation, and product support.
  • Work closely with regional delivery teams, representing them during the software development lifecycle, providing operational guidance, product consultancy, and supporting client incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of Software Engineering experience
  • 3-5 years in Cloud engineering
  • Ability to drive SaaS and on-prem deliveries and client implementation
  • Experience with cloud services, deployment, and management
  • AWS inclusive of scaling, tuning, CI/CD deployment practices
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience using alerting and monitoring solutions, Splunk, DynaTrace, Grafana
  • Understanding of XML, JSON, Swagger
  • Platform familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Kafka
  • Experience with API test tools such as Bruno, Postman, SOAP UI
  • Experience with UNIX and Windows OS and shell scripting
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to shape and drive acceleration of outcomes through critical thinking
  • Ability to comprehend detailed project specifications with the need to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge in continuous optimization of AWS resources for performance, cost, and reliability
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, application architects, and engineering managers
