Performance EngineerRole Overview:

As a seasoned performance engineer, you will have the chance to work on testing various software applications and technologies. This role demands a motivated individual with strong programming skills and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and apply benchmarks for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to analyze, debug, and enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the impact of system changes on performance.
  • Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments and analyze results.
  • Participate in architecture reviews to ensure quality in cross-team engineering efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of experience in performance testing.
  • Strong background in performance testing of SAP applications.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and its components.
  • Knowledge of BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration and SCP iOS SDK mobile app performance testing.
  • Experience with application & database monitoring in SAP BTP using Kibana and HANA DB cockpit.
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms and O-Notation.
  • Proficient in relational and in-memory databases.
  • Code management experience using Git.
Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are an asset.
