Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Product Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the sales of commercial products, including chillers and water source heat pumps.

About the Role

As an HVAC Product Specialist, you will work closely with the product manager, Plan & Spec team, and sales teams to provide accurate and timely responses to presales inquiries. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical sales material, including product data, technical manuals, and marketing brochures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales of assigned products by providing accurate and timely responses to presales inquiries.
  • Create, maintain, and update technical sales material, including product data, technical manuals, product bulletins, marketing brochures, application guides, technical presentations, and sales presentations.
  • Perform presentations of sales and training material at sales offices, customer events, industry gatherings, and through webinars and recorded sessions.
  • Process customer engineered to order (ETO) requests by working across multiple disciplines to review, document, and generate pricing for customer requests.
  • Work with product managers to perform competitive and market analysis, collect sales office and customer feedback for assigned products, and assist with planning and implementing product updates, new product releases, and providing critical input for the development of product roadmaps.
  • Maintain selection software and pricing systems, work across multiple disciplines to implement corrections, updates, and new product releases in the selection software and pricing systems.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of HVAC product experience. A B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, along with experience with one or more of the following: Chiller & Pumps, Product marketing experience in a technical environment, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Technical understanding of HVAC systems, including system design, building and energy codes, system operation, refrigeration systems, fans, electrical and control systems, and psychometrics.
