About the Role

Logistiq is a fast-growing logistics tech company that's transforming First Mile, Mid Mile, and Last Mile logistics through its carrier-agnostic SaaS platform. We're seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our high-energy engineering team.

This role involves developing and delivering optimized, scalable, and clean code. You'll work with product management to turn business challenges into technical solutions, stay curious about new technologies, and adopt and experiment with them. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is also crucial for ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality code that meets scalability and performance requirements.
  • Write unit tests and ensure robust quality before deployment.
  • Maintain performance, fix bugs, and own your deliverables.
  • Work closely with product management to drive technical solutions for business challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest technology trends and adopt them in your work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality delivery.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong skills in Java, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with Rest APIs, GitLab, GCP/AWS, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible.
