Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data and Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a Data and Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, model correctness, performance, and usability across pipelines, semantic models, and reports.

Your primary objective will be to design and implement data transformation strategies that meet business requirements while maintaining data accuracy and quality. You will also be responsible for building automated data tests, regression packs, and dataset-level contracts to ensure the reliability of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop test strategies that cover transformation accuracy, reconciliation, security, lineage, performance, and accessibility.
  • Build automated data tests using SQL assertions and expectations, as well as regression packs for DAX/measures and dataset-level contracts.
  • Execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), manage defects, and validate deployment pipelines and release readiness.
  • Leverage Power Platform tools where appropriate, such as Power Automate for defect routing and alerts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in testing data/BI platforms with mixed SaaS/ERP sources, including SQL and test data design.
  • Familiarity with test management/reporting tools and understanding of privacy and access controls.
