X++ Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned X++ developer to contribute to the development, customization, and optimization of D365 F&O solutions using X++. Emphasis is placed on Electronic Reporting, system integrations, and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions using X++.
  • Build and enhance Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in full-cycle implementation projects, from design through to deployment and support.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using standard frameworks.
  • Support data migration activities, ensuring integrity and quality of transferred data.
  • Provide technical documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Ensure all customizations align with best practices, coding standards, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with X++ development in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Strong expertise in Electronic Reporting (ER) within D365 is also essential. A proven track record of delivering customizations and enhancements in enterprise ERP environments is required. In addition, good knowledge of D365 modules such as finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehouse, and product information management is necessary. The candidate should also have experience with integrations, data migration, and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are also required. Finally, strong English communication skills (written and spoken) and the ability to work collaboratively in global, cross-functional teams are necessary.

Nice to Have

Experience with ISVs such as Exflow (SignUp), TAS (SK Global), or Comarch would be beneficial. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management would also be advantageous. Additionally, Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O or related areas would be desirable. Exposure to localizations and compliance for multi-country implementations would also be valuable.
