  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced HVAC design engineer to join our team. As an HVAC design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC design principles and experience working with software such as HAP, Trace 700, and Revit MEP.
  • You will work closely with our team to ensure that all designs meet the required standards and are implemented efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HVAC System Design:
  • Design and implement HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
  • Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20.
  • Select and size HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) based on project requirements.
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).
  • Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards.
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HVAC Design:
  • Certification in HVAC design (ASHRAE, LEED AP, or similar) is preferred but not required.
  • International Experience:
  • Experience working on international projects (Gulf region, US, UK, etc.) is a plus.
