Project Cost Controller

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Project Invoicing and Tax Compliance: Assist with invoicing, tax issues, bonds, guarantees, and financial accounting, ensuring timely payment and compliance with regulations.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor and optimize project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution in collaboration with the Central Cost Controller/Project Manager.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, implement mitigation actions, and review project reviews with the PM/Central Controller/PSCM.
  • Commercial Awareness: Promote commercial awareness within the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan.
  • Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients for invoice approval, payments, and compliance purposes.
  • Billing Register Maintenance: Maintain an updated billing register capturing details of all billings, status, payments, deductions, and follow-ups.
  • Expense Monitoring: Monitor site expenses, report weekly expenses in a specified format, and reconcile SAP entries with invoices.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze actual vs. budget costs and revenue on the project, highlighting potential issues to the controller manager and project managers.
  • Project Actualisation: Lead project actualisation activities at defined frequencies, coordinating with the project team to gather required data and discussing finance-related slides with the controller manager.
  • Kappa Review: Review Kappa against budgeted costs, highlighting issues if costs exceed budget, and verifying that adequate documents are attached with Kappa.
  • Monthly Business Review: Share project slides for the monthly business review, adhering to the project team's timeline and keeping the controller manager informed.
  • Provision Check: Conduct a comprehensive check on provisions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting rules and HO instructions.
  • Cash Verification: Perform monthly cash verification and surprise verification, reporting results to the HO team (controller manager and IFC team).
  • Internal Financial Controls: Lead and supervise compliance with Internal Financial Controls as defined by HO in the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM).
  • Guarantees and Insurance Renewal: Monitor ABG, PBG, and other guarantees and insurances to ensure timely renewal and reduction according to contractual conditions.
  • Tax Regulations: Comply with tax regulations.
  • Team Support: Provide necessary support to the execution team and act as a core finance support for all finance-related matters on site.
  • Timesheet Filing: Ensure timely filling of man days for self and staff working on the project.
  • Site Accountant Supervision: Supervise day-to-day work of site accountants, providing guidance and support for efficient conduct of site tasks.
  • Central Controlling Team Support: Support central controlling team on various analyses and ad-hoc requests.

  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • High sense of responsibility, commitment, and effective communication.

Educational Qualification:

MBA Finance / CA-Inter / ICWA
