About the Opportunity:

The role involves applying cutting-edge AI techniques to complex biological data, generating actionable insights for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions to analyze multi-modal biological data.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to grow accounts and develop new opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the domain to architect novel solutions addressing client pain points.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of biological scientists, ML-engineers, and data scientists on customer-facing projects.
  • Budget effectively while delivering high-quality results within timelines.
  • Work closely with internal R&D teams to align goals with customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing customers and generate new commercial opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. with 2-3 years of industrial/academic experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in processing and analyzing multi-omics data with a strong emphasis on end-to-end analysis of single-cell transcriptomics data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience leading customer-facing projects with successful delivery records.

Good-to-have:

  • Proficiency in coding with both R and Python.
  • Experience performing integration analysis of NGS data across different modalities.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and scalable computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in biomedical data analysis.
  • Strong publishing record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
