Financial Specialist

Job Overview:

The Accounts Professional plays a pivotal role in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the team with various financial activities. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger
• Regularly reconcile bank statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and closing procedures
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings, staying updated on relevant tax laws and regulations
• Prepare various financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance
• Interact with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address financial inquiries and resolve issues
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and other export-related documents, and coordinate with clients for necessary information
• Prepare GST and TDS filing

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically essential
• Proven work experience in an accounting or finance role is often required, with the specific number of years varying depending on the seniority of the position
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records and preparing reports
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in GST filing
• At least 2 years of experience in TDS filing
