Senior Building Services Engineer

Overview of the Role:
- This position involves overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work during building construction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of how these systems interact with each other.
About the Job:
- The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop initial design concepts and assess their constructability.
- They will review designs for legal and statutory compliance and ensure that necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Effective communication and coordination with all disciplines involved in services design is essential.
- Shop drawings must be reviewed and approved by the contractor, and site implementation must adhere to schedule and quality standards.
- Additional responsibilities include selecting vendors and local material suppliers, ensuring installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment related to all services (electrical/HVAC/plumbing/firefighting), managing handovers, and providing training to the taking-over team.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in high-rise/museum/multiplex projects.
- Technical knowledge of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
