Mobile Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decompose large projects into modular code modules; utilize modern concurrency models and Combine for thread-safe state management.
  • Apply software design patterns and principles of clean architecture; champion dependency injection containers for rigorous testing.
  • Feature Development & Optimization
  • Design user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit interoperability; support dynamic typography, dark mode, and iOS visual language.
  • Integrate Core ML and Apple Intelligence APIs for on-device inference; leverage Metal where high-performance is required.
  • Analyze performance issues via Instruments and identify memory leaks using Xcode's visual memory graph.
  • Quality Assurance & CI/CD
  • Ensure high test coverage rates with XCTest/XCUITest and snapshot tests.
  • Manage automated pipelines in Xcode Cloud or self-hosted Fastlane runners; enforce static-analysis gates.
  • Release Management & Observability
  • Coordinate feature releases and phased roll-outs.
  • Instrument metrics with MetricKit and Firebase Crashlytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in mobile app development; at least one successful consumer app with over 1M users.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Swift and familiarity with modern concurrency models.
  • Proficiency in the iOS/Xcode ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and applied cryptography.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive iteration using analytics-derived KPIs.
