Role Overview:

This is a dynamic role for a seasoned furniture designer who possesses the skills and experience to create stunning, handcrafted products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative designs using various materials such as wood, metal, fabric, leather, and bamboo.
  • Collaborate with skilled craftsmen and vendors to ensure seamless production coordination and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with quality control specialists to establish high standards for finished products and maintain exceptional quality.
  • Design and implement effective production schedules and processes, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and product design innovations to drive creative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in design from a reputable institution specializing in lifestyle product accessory designs or furniture design.
  • Hands-on experience in design and development through conceptualization, product illustrations, material explorations, and product development.
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, fabric, leather, and bamboo.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills to work effectively with designers, clients, craftsmen, and laborers.
  • Technical skills: Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD/3D Max, Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, KeyShot, etc.
