About the Role

DevSecOps Engineer Position

This is a high-level job description for a DevSecOps Engineer position.

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing DevSecOps practices across cloud environments, focusing on AWS and Azure platforms.

You will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistency and efficiency in cloud deployments.

Define, implement, and monitor IAM guardrails and access management best practices to enhance cloud security posture.

You will support security and compliance requirements by leveraging tools like Wiz and Remote PC to identify vulnerabilities and threats.

Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to enforce cloud security policies and procedures.

Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities within cloud environments to prevent data breaches and cyber attacks.

Work closely with stakeholders to integrate DevSecOps processes into the company's ecosystem, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members to promote skills development and expertise sharing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with a strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including Terraform and IaC practices.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Security best practices, security controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience managing systems and security in hybrid cloud environments, with a focus on IAM guardrails and access management.
  • Familiarity with Wiz (cloud security posture management) and Remote PC setups in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
