Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our network infrastructure in a 24/7 support environment, ensuring an impressive 99% network uptime.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Manage network infrastructure with 24/7 support environment and ensure 99% network uptime.
  • LAN, VLAN, Web Filter Management: Manage and troubleshoot LAN, VLAN, web filter, IP routing, LACP, wireless, and WAN networks.
  • Network Hardware Expertise: Hands-on experience on Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, HP Procurve, Aruba Wireless.
  • F5 Load Balancer Knowledge: Good to have knowledge on F5 load balancer, ClearPass, Aruba Wireless IAP/Controller based Radius Integration.
  • Automation Skills: Develop, test, and maintain Ansible for network automation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and implement improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and security.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive network documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a senior network engineer, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.
  • Ansible Experience: Knowledge in Ansible for network automation.
  • Protocol Understanding: Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Hardware Familiarity: Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CPNSA) are highly desirable.
