Lead comprehensive testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities will include...

Functional Expertise

-Develop and maintain robust test suites and test cases for functional, regression, performance, API Automation, and security testing.

-Drive the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and test scripts to streamline testing processes, improve test coverage, and accelerate release cycles.

-Collaborate with release management and deployment teams to ensure smooth and successful releases with minimal impact on production environments.

Interaction

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project requirements and objectives.

-Coordinate and participate in release activities, including release planning, regression testing, and production deployment.

Problem Solving

-Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

-Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement in the testing lifecycle and implement effective solutions to drive quality improvements and productivity gains.

-Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior QA team members to enhance their technical skills, domain knowledge, and testing expertise.

Qualification & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

-5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.

-Proven expertise in API automation using Java language using any HTTP client libraries (e.g., Rest Assured, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.).

Skills & know-how

-Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile environments.

-Experience with performance testing using Jmeter

-Have working knowledge of SQL or similar database

-Having working knowledge of NO MySQL is plus

-Have used any Bug Reporting tool like Jira, Mantis

-Able to mentor Juniors

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
