Cyber Security Specialist Job OverviewProtect our digital assets, infrastructure, and customer data by designing, implementing, and managing security measures to safeguard information systems against cyber threats.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts to identify potential threats.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
Risk & ComplianceEnsure compliance with industry standards and internal policies. This includes conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, implementing policies and procedures aligned with ISO 27001 or other relevant frameworks, and maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.Infrastructure & Application SecuritySecure cloud environments and SaaS platforms, partner with engineering teams to ensure secure application development (DevSecOps), review code and system configurations for security flaws, and maintain the integrity of sensitive data.Identity & Access ManagementDevelop and enforce access controls, authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA), and privileged accounts, ensuring that users have the appropriate level of access to sensitive resources while minimizing risk.Awareness & TrainingProvide education and training on phishing, password hygiene, and data handling best practices to ensure a culture of security awareness within the organization.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in cyber security, information security, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Security frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).
  • Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
  • SIEM and monitoring solutions.
  • Cloud security.
