AS400 Application Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced AS400 developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining applications using AS400 technology, including RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Applications: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications using AS400 technology.
  2. Work on the Complete Life Cycle of Development: From design to deployment, the candidate will work with cross-functional teams to execute SIT and UAT processes.
  3. Troubleshoot Issues: The candidate will troubleshoot issues during various phases of development and implement effective solutions.
  4. Design and Develop Complex CL Programs: The candidate will design and develop complex CL programs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  5. Apply Knowledge of DB2 Concepts: The candidate will apply knowledge of DB2 concepts and methodologies to drive database-driven applications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the development industry, with a focus on AS400 technologies.
  • Extensive Knowledge of ILE-RPG: The candidate will have extensive knowledge of ILE-RPG, modules, service programs, and other related skills.
  • Experience in Writing Unit Test Cases: The candidate will have experience in writing comprehensive unit test cases and executing them effectively.
  • Good English Communication Skills: The candidate will have good English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Insurance Domain: The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance domain, preferably in life insurance.
  • Ability to Work Well Under Pressure: The candidate will be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Self-Motivated and Flexible: The candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, responsible, and have a desire for quality.
