The Safety and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for partnering with site operations teams in a Delivery Station to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives and reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with Operations Teams and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies and assist site teams in incorporating safety standards at their location.
- Identify best practices and incorporate them into company safety policies to continuously improve.
- Possess excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge.
- Lead a safety team comprising Safety Specialists, Coordinators, and Onsite first aid Associates.
Basic Qualifications:
- B.Sc. / Diploma in Engineering / B.E or B.Tech with 2+ years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
- Experience in private or government organizations managing multiple sites and stakeholders.
- Flexibility regarding shifts and implementing lean principles and process improvement in operational environments.
