Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited. As a Software Developer for Connected Car Functions, you will be responsible for developing UI/UX software components for Infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of UI/UX software components for Infotainment systems
- C++, Qt, qml Coding and Unit Testing
- Integration, Build and Release Management of application
- Documentation of High Level, Low Level design, Source code and Unit Tests
- Develop, flash and test the application in Telematics Head Unit hardware
- Communication with partners, suppliers and within the team
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Software development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream
- Strong C++, Qt & qml programming skills
- Working experience with the Infotainment domain
- Working experience in developing any one of the applications like Navigation, Media player etc.
- Working experience in using RPC mechanism like gRPC, Thrift, DBus, Franca, Common-API etc.
- Good Knowledge of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture
- Experience in working with Linux platform (Development, Build and Deployment)
- Good knowledge of UML Modelling tools like EA, Rhapsody
- Good knowledge of SW-Version-Tools e.g. GIT
- Good Knowledge of Requirement Management Tool - DOORS
- Excellent Communication and Team work skills
Desired Skills
- Familiar with object-oriented design and various design patterns
- Good knowledge of Test driven development (Unit and Module testing)
- Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment using Atlassian tools
- Experience on modern S/W Development languages like JAVA script is an added advantage
