Job Description

As a Senior Data Integration Specialist, you will contribute your skills in harnessing the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of their members. You will team with people who thrive on finding innovative solutions to healthcare's biggest challenges.

Your Role in Our Mission

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides detailed design documents and translates them into component-level designs to accelerate development.
  • Provides design expertise in support of development team efforts to provide flexible, reusable components that increase cost-effectiveness. Analyzes, designs, and reviews application designs to ensure customer specifications are satisfied.
  • Acts as a liaison between application architects and development teams to ensure coordinated product development and implementation.
  • Assists in reviewing and analyzing gathered information in technical research and evaluates tools and methodologies to ensure designs adhere to industry, client, and company standards.
  • Develops and provides technical documentation; participates in test-plan development, integration, and deployment.
  • Participates in business process work sessions, project meetings, and joint applications development sessions to communicate product design decisions to departmental personnel.
  • Functions as a domain expert and works closely with software developers to explain application designs, coordinating activities between the two functions to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in data management, computer science, or related field preferred.
  • Six+ years of experience in Informatica - Power Center 10.x, Power Exchange 10.x.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Informatica Power Center mappings and workflows that process huge volumes of data across multiple platforms.
  • Solid experience with performance tuning of Informatica processes in partitioned database environments.
  • Advanced SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting skills, and ability to write complex Stored Procedures.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in complex data transformations dealing with large volumes of data.
