Oracle Finance Specialist

As a premier technology solution provider, we are seeking an Oracle Finance Consultant. The successful candidate will provide functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications and identify innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles.

• Functional Support: Provide functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, IC, Tax, Expense).
• Problem Resolution: Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems.
• Functional Request Management: Manage functional requests from the end-user community.
• Prioritization and Development: Define functional request priorities, write functional specifications, and coordinate developments with technical teams.
• Quarterly Functional Updates: Review Oracle fusion quarterly functional updates, understand, map to business needs, test/validate cross-functional and deploy upon business confirmation.
• Reporting: Design and develop OTBI reports, FRC reports, and write basic data extraction queries using SQL.
• Integration Management: Support and manage all finance and third-party integrations.
• Reconciliation Process: Establish/define reconciliation process and reports and support business users during month-end and year-end reconciliation process.
• Custom Roles and Data Access: Design and define process-wise custom fusion roles and provide data access as appropriate.
• Bug and Enhancement Management: Work with Oracle support teams for application bugs/enhancements.
• Oracle Standard Functionality: Encourage business to use Oracle standard functionalities and reports.
• Business Requirements Mapping: Map business requirements and translate these requirements into Oracle Applications functional specifications.
• Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing: Develop unit test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements or custom solutions.
• Service Request Resolution: Work with Oracle to resolve service requests.
• System Life Cycle Management: Lead and direct system life cycle phases, including period closing and reconciliation process between subledger and third-party systems.
• Reports Customization: Build and customize reports based on end-user requirements.
• Training and Support: Train end-user community on systems where applicable.
• Audit Participation: Participate in audits of system usage, detect and collect issues, implement action plans, and coordinate actions.
• ITIL Service Management: Adhere and support existing ITIL service management processes, such as change management, incident management, and problem management.
• Service Level Agreements: Embrace and adhere to support service level agreements agreed with the end-user community.
• Regular Communication: Regularly communicate to users the status of support or enhancement requests.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with ERP support teams across other domains to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
