Chief Underwriter

The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis, particularly in the real estate industry, and a deep understanding of the US market.

Our team is committed to enhancing the residential real estate ecosystem in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to lead our team in India and drive exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-performing team of analysts to deliver top-notch underwriting services for the US market.
• Collaborate closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality control processes to guarantee adherence to underwriting standards.
• Oversee daily underwriting workflows, queues, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly.

• Pg/Master's degree from a reputable institution with a specialization in finance, economics, or a related field.
• US CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2 qualification.
• Proven experience in credit analysis, preferably in the real estate sector, with exposure to the US market an advantage.
• Leadership experience in managing a small team of skilled analysts.
• Exposure to international clients and managing offshore teams will be advantageous.
