Cloud Security Specialist

This position entails designing and implementing comprehensive security measures for private cloud infrastructure, encompassing network, firewall, database, perimeter security, and endpoint security.
- A key responsibility is managing infrastructure security across clusters, applications, and networking layers to ensure seamless integration with development activities and workloads.
- The ideal candidate will monitor and respond to security incidents in private cloud environments, providing a holistic understanding of cloud security components and their integration with other systems within the development ecosystem.
- Gathering security requirements from the development team and implementing tailored cyber security solutions is crucial, maintaining access control and data security protocols.
- Implementing, maintaining, and continuously updating security measures to protect cloud environments from emerging cyber threats, unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security risks is vital.
Necessary Skills:
- Developing and enforcing robust security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring all workloads integrate with optimal security measures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities, providing proactive security recommendations to prevent data breaches and other security incidents.
- Staying up-to-date with evolving security threats, technologies, and industry trends to enhance cloud security posture and optimize security controls.
