We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.

About the Job

The job entails designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements, maintaining and updating existing WordPress websites, optimizing websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices, collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions, troubleshooting and resolving website issues and bugs, integrating third-party APIs and services, and staying updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
  • Understanding of web hosting, cPanel, and DNS configuration.
  • Experience with website migration and backups.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
