Job Description:

The primary responsibility of a Storage Administrator is to design, implement, and manage NetApp storage systems. This includes procuring, installing, configuring software upgrades, and provisioning storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing NetApp storage systems.
  • Managing vFilers, fiber interconnect switches, and storage reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Providing operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization.
  • Planning and implementing data migrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches.
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc).
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS - NFS technologies.
  • Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details.
