About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and excellent customer service abilities.

  • Checking prescriptions for proper dosage and ensuring accuracy in dispensing pharmaceuticals to customers or other health care professionals
  • Advising patients on indications, contradictions, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage of prescribed medications
  • Maintaining accurate medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons, narcotic, and controlled drugs
  • Ordering and managing stock of pharmaceutical supplies to meet business needs
  • Providing expert advice on selection and use of non-prescription medications to customers
  • Reneewing existing prescriptions when necessary, following established protocols

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid BPharm, DPharm, or MPharm degree from an accredited institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
