Key Responsibilities

As a key partner to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will drive product cost structure down by owning a portion of the product cost roadmap and cost reduction cadence. This will ensure alignment and accountability across Engineering and Supply Chain organizations.

The ideal candidate will provide financial analysis and insights to inform decision-making, including should-costing for bills of materials and CAPEX investment ROI assessments. They will also create and manage short- and longer-term financial forecasts for the Engineering organization.

Responsibilities include partnering with Finance and Engineering leadership to prepare board materials, presentations, and monthly reporting. The candidate will also develop metrics to track business unit-specific and company-wide trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering, finance, management, or economics preferred.

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in finance, including strategic planning, project management, and decision-making, is desired.

- Engineering and/or engineering finance background preferred.

- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite.

- Proficient with accounting software, Dynamics and Business Central is a plus.

- Working experience with financial planning software.

- Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, and research.

- Past success in leading teams, effectively working cross-functionally, demonstrating strong people skills, and consensus building.
