Program Manager Job Overview

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the cloud costs and usage analysis, optimization, and finance-related activities. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud economics, AWS services, and pricing models.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of cloud cost and usage trends to deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop strategies for optimizing cloud costs through data-driven analytics.
  • Provide regular updates on cloud cost trends and insights to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Develop and present comprehensive cloud finance reports to various audiences.
  • Forecast budgets and track spending against targets.
  • Oversee programs related to cloud costs, including onboarding, tagging, and governance.
  • Analyze large datasets and conduct targeted analyses across multiple dimensions.
  • Identify cost anomalies and potential cloud-related issues.
  • Develop new initiatives and FinOps strategies for enhanced cloud optimization.
  • Mentor and coach teammates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in roles like Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Data Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud economics, AWS services, and AWS pricing models.
  • Experience with cloud management platforms and using AWS Cost Explorer and other Cloud Cost Management tools.
  • AWS certification and/or FinOps Certification are advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across a global organization and adapt to different time zones.
  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines, and handle stressful conditions.
  • Ability to set goals and manage multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously.
