Urban Planning Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Urban Designer to join our team. In this role, you will conduct research on planning trends, policies, legislation, and market conditions to support project development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliverables: Prepare reports, presentations, diagrams, technical drawings, and other deliverables to the highest quality achievable and submit them on time.
  • Site Assessments: Gather essential information to support planning proposals.
  • Liaison: Ensure seamless communication with the London Office.
  • Flexibility: Be available to work flexible late hours to align with the London office schedule when required.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Urban Planning/ Architecture/ Geography or similar field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment/ graphics firm/advertising agency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with departmental staff and management.
  • A good knowledge of current planning best practices and sustainable development.
  • Proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and experienced in using them to create diverse design solutions.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory.

Good to Have:

  • Prior experience in urban planning/ property sector.
  • Ability to work with AI software.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products including Civil3d and AutoCAD.
