About This Role

The ecommerce sales specialist plays a crucial role in driving sustainable growth by optimizing store listings, developing marketing strategies, managing accounts, and analyzing digital performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will directly report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for

  • Optimizing existing brand stores and product pages to drive traffic and sales
  • Partnering with the brand team to develop messaging and brand assets compliant with brand guidelines and Amazon standards
  • Applying PPC best practices for Amazon Sponsored Product ads
  • Setting up new product promotions for every new product release
  • Executing vine and influencer marketing in partnership with the content manager
  • Assisting the sales manager with development of product promotion plans
  • Developing Amazon marketing strategies in partnership with marketing and sales leadership
  • Partnering with digital and brand marketing to develop and execute AMS and AMG advertising strategies
  • Managing accounts, maintaining relationships with Amazon buyers, and generating customer feedback and reviews
  • Working closely with internal departments - Sales, Operations, Brand Marketing, and Customer Service for feedback and input
  • Creating, tracking, and reconciling shipments to Amazon Fulfilment
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on performance metrics, sales, marketing performance, and pricing
  • Analyzing digital sales performance metrics, modifying plans as needed to deliver against targets
  • Reporting ROI analysis, campaign tracking, web stats, pricing reports, competitive analysis, promotion analysis, and new SKU checks on a weekly basis
  • Fixing issues with listings wherever required
  • Keeping ACOS in check
  • Managing inventory and placing orders for stock as and when necessary
  • Managing FBA inventory - ordering new inventory and ensuring there is no excess inventory in the warehouse
  • Checking and maintaining good account health
  • Managing returns
  • Replying to customer messages, complaints, feedbacks, and queries
  • Maintaining a database of customers
  • Finding new keywords for existing products
  • Running CPC Ads
  • Maintaining a database of well-performing keywords
  • Understanding how Amazon's SEO works and updating listings accordingly
  • Making sales forecasts and coordinating with operations
  • Checking Amazon's policies and ensuring listings are up-to-date
  • Keeping updated with Amazon's Algorithm
  • Having a good understanding of product categories and key competitors
  • Overseeing the operational side of dispatches
  • Performing an audit of all listings on a weekly basis
  • Making marketing strategies to increase sales
  • Setting up Amazon USA, UK, Canada, Germany, and France
  • Studying local norms and making changes accordingly
  • Being involved with product research and recommending products or categories to enter
  • Coordinating with the content manager and Performance Marketing Specialist to launch Google and FB ads accordingly
