Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript (or Selenium). They will ensure that the automation framework supports the testing needs of various projects and integrates automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience playing the role of QA in an Agile software development environment, with experience working collaboratively with Agile or Kanban development teams. They should have expertise in testing RESTful APIs and web services with tools like POSTMAN.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript (or Selenium).
  • Ensure the automation framework supports the testing needs of various projects.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
  • Develop detailed test cases and test plans based on requirements and specifications.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to identify and reproduce defects.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in a bug tracking system like Jira.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4-6 years of experience playing the role of QA in an Agile software development environment.
