Lead Financial Planner

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned financial planner to lead the preparation of annual budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide actionable insights to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze annual budgets to ensure alignment with targets.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business units with performance analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Oversee long-term financial planning processes.
  • Manage operational financial controls, including revenue growth, expense, and margin management.
  • Work closely with business units to understand pipeline impact on forecast.
  • Manage complex financial data.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing financial guidance to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Support business cases, investment appraisals, and pricing strategies through robust financial modeling and analysis.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to align financial planning with commercial objectives.
  • Challenge and influence operational stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a financial planner/financial analyst with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Certifications such as CA/CMA/MBA/ACCA.
  • A background in a large organization and international environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
