Product Strategist Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our product team. As the primary liaison between product management and engineering teams, you will focus on executing our product roadmap.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Own and maintain the product backlog for your assigned engineering team. This includes creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
• Act as the voice of the customer and the Product Manager within the sprint team. Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide clarification and a deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements to the development team.
• Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories that include acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
• Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and the original requirements before it is released to QA or production.
• Facilitate effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
• Understand the technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.

You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science).
