Backend Developer Role Overview

The role of Backend Developer is a key position within our organization. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to design, build, and scale our applications using modern technologies.

This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to take ownership of our core backend systems and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Optimize and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning
  • Work with AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide junior engineers
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features from gathering requirements and design to deployment and monitoring
Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design
  • Technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
  • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and database optimization
  • Hands-on experience with AWS SQS or other messaging queues
  • Ability to own and drive projects from concept to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
