**Senior Settlements Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the daily settlement and funding process. This role requires adherence to internal control policies and procedures, as well as trade capture processes, including trade blotter reconciliations and resolution of exceptions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of daily settlements and funding
  • Researching and resolving problems related to specific Pre- and Post-Settlement transactions
  • Maintaining proper documentation for regulatory and compliance purposes
  • Daily comparison of open trade breaks and ensuring items are tracked and actioned
  • Reconciliation of securities out of balances, including processing of adjusting entries
  • Interacting with external clients on trade capture-related queries
  • Matching trades with broker-dealer counterparts
  • Monitoring RTTM/GSCC (Advisories, exceptions, mismatches, and reversals)
  • Monitoring Obligation Warehouse
  • Ensuring matching of all Euroclear settlement items
  • Monitoring local market instruction and matching on international trades
  • Resolving CNS exceptions and blotter issues (money & positions)
  • Collaborating with the settlements team to monitor and resolve trade breaks and fails

**Requirements:**

  • Graduation in a relevant field or post-graduation
  • 2 to 9 years of experience in handling a team of at least 10 members and having good knowledge of Settlements and OTC Derivatives
  • Good logical and quantitative abilities

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Ability to manage and complete tasks with minimal direction
  • Ability to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations
  • Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade skills
