Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & prototype wheelchair frames, drive modules, and ergonomic components.
  • Assist in gathering insights on market needs and consumer trends to inform product development.
  • Engineer lightweight, robust load-bearing structures (FEA validation).
  • Integrate motors, batteries, and control systems with structural design.
  • Collaborate with vendors for precision fabrication and quality delivery.
  • Conduct testing for durability, safety, and compliance.
  • Optimize materials and processes for cost, weight, and performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of product specifications, changes, and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • B.E./M.E. in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering required.
  • 2–4 years' experience in product development (mobility, automotive, or structural products) essential.
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) a must.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping necessary.
  • Exposure to EV/mechatronic systems an advantage.
