Chief Mold Designer

The role of a Design Engineer involves the creation of detailed designs for molds and the production of drawings for products. This position requires strong technical skills, particularly in designing plastic molds on NX software.
Key Responsibilities- To attend the repair of machines and equipment.
- Detailed designs to be made for molds, drawings to be created for products given.
- Jobs to be assigned to Tool Room Mechanics with progress updates and follow-ups.
- Machines in the Tool Room section to be maintained.
- New sample drawings to be prepared from customers and projects executed until commercial production.
- Fabrication work given to 3rd parties to be followed up according to design/delivery schedule.
- Adequate stock of critical spare parts to be maintained.
- Yearly shutdown preventive maintenance schedules to be prepared and coordinated with production.
- Schedule inspections/check-ups of all fighting Equipment's to be followed-up.
- Participate in MRM and take corrective steps as discussed.
- All molds to be properly stored. Periodically carry out mold maintenance.
- Candidate must have knowledge & exposure into Plastic Moulds.
- Candidate must have experience & knowledge into Designing Plastic Moulds on NX Software.
