Job Summary

The Senior Manager, IT Applications will be accountable for overseeing the operations of all academic, administrative, and enterprise IT applications at a major institution.

This role includes responsibility for managing the lifecycle of enterprise applications (deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, performance optimization).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.

    • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications.">
    • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of all academic and administrative applications.">
    • Oversee issue resolution, incident management, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.">

  • Stakeholder Engagement">
    • ">
    • Partner with institutional leaders to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.">
    • Act as the primary liaison with application vendors and service providers.">
    • Lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.">

    • Define and execute the application roadmap in alignment with institutional goals.">
    • Establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.">
    • Recommend and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.">

  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management">

    • Lead and mentor the application support team.">
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.">
    • Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.">

    • Drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.">
    • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.">

Qualifications & Experience

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).">
  • Around 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments.">
  • Expertise in managing multiple systems and technologies.">
  • Strong experience in project management, vendor management, and IT governance.">
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.">
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.">
