QNB Group is seeking a skilled Operational Risk Manager to lead the implementation of our operational risk management framework in the branch. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks across various areas, including internal and external fraud, employment practices, workplace safety, clients, products, business practices, damage to physical assets, business disruption, systems failures, and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement operational risk policies, procedures, and controls to minimize losses and protect information assets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, security, and compliance teams, to ensure effective collaboration and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze and report on operational risk data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the security team to maintain an effective physical security framework, including risk assessments and monitoring programs.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to ensure effective operational risk management.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in a major bank.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing.
