Technical Accounting Director Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Accounting Director to fill this critical role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting consulting, with expertise in technical accounting advisory services.

  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Drive business growth through collaboration with other Partners & Directors
  • Mentor team members and provide guidance on practice management initiatives

This role requires the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development
  • Manage client relationships and project management tasks
  • Provide technical accounting advice on complex issues to clients
  • Conduct research on accounting topics and prepare informative memos
  • Assist clients with implementing new accounting standards
  • Review and analyze client financial information to provide recommendations for improvement
  • Supervise and mentor team members
  • Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations

Requirements
  • Strong domain knowledge, project management skills, business development skills, and people skills
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice
  • Possess strong domain knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure
